Faith-Test

Why does God test our faith?
Why does he bring other gods into play?
What do we need ‘Ra’, ‘Buddha’ and ‘Shiva’ for when there is only one god according to Christians, Jews, etc.

Why would he invent competitors he later/now has to fight? Competitors that make it harder to get ‘the message’ across.

I wonder if “GOD” actually said “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” If so, I agree with you, that doesn’t make much sense.

However, we humans wrote the bible, not God. And we could have changed what “HE” had really meant.

I believe that it is only in the testing of our faith that we come to see what we truly believe - if our faith is in fact real or if it is “blind faith”.

True faith is to believe through any circumstances, even when others might steer in another direction. :-)

Through thick and thin, I will always have faith in God. It is in hard times that He strengthens our faith and character.

Maybe in all reality we are worshiping the same God, Just with a different name.
